Kindergarten
The Kindergarten section has four age-homogenous
groups:
Nursery I
(2 years old)
Nursery II (3 years old)
KGI (4 years old)
KGII (5 years old) In these levels, children build their concentration
and skills through play. Teachers believe that learning process
should be memorable rather than memorized. Children explore
real world topics, investigate and play, with a variety of
materials. Children learn more about themselves, other people
and the world around them. They are exposed to situations
that permit them to build their own knowledge and become life-long
learners.
Students work on their skills to become: inquirers, thinkers,
communicators, risk takers. Teachers should try to help the students
become knowledgeable, principled, caring, open minded, balanced
and reflective.
Language is a means of communication; it also enables them
to acquire the appropriate skills in their preschool years.
The fact that many schools have students from different nationalities
at school, schools should make it an essential point to concentrate
on the main languages of communication.
Encourage our children to make choices and
to work collaboratively with others. Some activities even
require contact between the students of these classes, and
those of elementary, middle school and high school.
